This workshop will concentrate on the galaxies and structures, galaxy groups and clusters, in the first phases of their assembly.

We will explore evolutionary trends uncovered by observations up to z 8 and above, and structure assembly at z 2-3. With this focus, we will also discuss clues of galaxy and structure formation at lower redshifts.
