Résumé de la justification scientifique
The epoch at redshift 1.5<z<3 is when galaxies in clusters are transformed from star-forming galaxies to the quenched early-type galaxies. The physical mechanisms that cause their stellar population and morphological transformation are still unknown. In preparation for the Euclid and WFIRST future space missions,we would like to bring together members of different collaborations and discuss their findings to gain a better understanding of each results to converge on a larger vision of the field
Programme scientifique préliminaire
We plan to organize a tree day workshop : the first day will be dedicated to discuss model and simulation predictions with particular emphasis on the interplay of the different cluster components (hot and cold gas, stars, dark matter), the second day to present results from observations, the third day we will focus on the interpretation of results from comparison with models and simulations, and the understanding of each sample systematic selection bias.
